As Jelena fans continue to hold out hope for a revival of their favorite celebrity couple — even after Selena Gomez epically destroyed a "Marry Justin" sign during her tour — Justin Bieber's latest date may make shippers think differently. TMZ reports that Justin was out at a steakhouse in California with actress Nicola Peltz.
The two were spotted walking into a restaurant together, but that doesn't necessarily mean anything. Dates usually involve dinner, but they could be just two friends grabbing a bite to eat. (After all, Nicola is best friends with Gigi Hadid, who is friends with Kendall Jenner, who is friends with Hailey Baldwin, who...well, you get it. The idea that they've hung out before is not that hard to believe.)
Whether there's more to the story or not, Justin was listening to Taylor Swift's "Tear Drops On My Guitar" earlier this week. Has he been lovesick this whole time? Perhaps Nicola was there to comfort him? Or maybe he was looking to cast her in a music video of his own?
The possibilities here are endless, but Beliebers have already taken the situation into their own hands. Fans are bombarding Nicola's Instagram account with rude comments. Regardless of what the pair's actual relationship status may be — remember, they could very easily be friends! — there's absolutely no need for that. What if she really was just keeping him company?
