Justin Bieber wants to adopt a white lion.
I don't think he means the band.
Bieber was introduced to a white lion cub Wednesday night before his show in Toronto, according to the New York Daily News. The kitty's owner is millionaire businessman Alex Haditaghi.
"I was amazed how great he was with animals -- how caring he was," said Haditaghi, a 38-year-old dot-com investor, who wants to open a "1,000 to 2,000 acre" animal sanctuary in either Canada or the United States. He thinks the Beebs would make a good spokesman and wants to stay connected to the cub.
"We still haven't figured out if it's an adoption or sponsorship," said Haditaghi, who also said white lions sell for about $50,000.

This sounds like a really great idea.
Haditaghi told the Daily News the lion would likely stay in the sanctuary. But he hopes Bieber could tour with the cub and spread the word among his fans about wildlife preservation.
Has anyone explained to these two that lions grow? A lot.
The lion's name is Alex, though Bieber apparently wants to change it to Simba.
Bieber ticked of PETA earlier this month after posting photos of himself on Instagram petting a tiger that used as a prop for his dad's engagement party.
This whole situation is a mauling waiting to happen.
Bieber's rep declined comment.
